- 26 years of specialist and management experience in water, wastewater, emergency response, natural resources management and environmental protection for the US National Park Service - Golden Gate National Recreation Area, San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, US Bureau of Reclamation, US Army Corps of Engineers, US Bureau of Land Management, US Federal Emergency Management Agency.
- Oversaw and managed operations and critical infrastructure at multiple federal reservoirs providing drinking water to hundreds of thousands of people, in addition to extensive agricultural use.
- Graduate of UC Berkeley in economics.
- Licensed as a Water Distribution Operator.
- Licensed as an Emergency Medical Technician; former Volunteer Firefighter for Marinwood Fire Department.
- Certified: ICS 100, ICS 200, ICS 300 (Incident Command), FEMA 700 (NIMS), FEMA 800 (NRF), FEMA 235c (Emergency Planning), FEMA 870a/FEMA 871a/FEMA 872a (Dam Safety & Security), FEMA 910a (Workplace Security), FEMA 913 (Critical Infrastructure Security/Resilience).
