- Grew up in Marin County attending public schools and raised family in Terra Linda.
- Attended College of Marin. Obtained an undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley and a Master’s in Public Policy and Administration from CA State University Long Beach.
- Appointed to the Las Gallinas Valley Sanitary District Board in 2007 and last re-elected in 2020.
- Past Secretary for Terra Linda Homeowners Association.
- Served Boy Scouts of America as Cubmaster in Terra Linda and Scoutmaster for Troop chartered by San Rafael Elks.
- Served City of San Rafael as Commissioner on the Parks and Recreation Commission.
- Currently serving Marin County as elected Special District Commissioner on LAFCO.
- Holds a Senior Right of Way Agent (SR/WA) designation with the International Right of Way Association.
- Currently works as a Development Project Manager in the Engineering Department for City of Richmond.
